Strategic Customer Development x2

Vacancies have arisen for two Strategic Customer Development Managers to join the Strategic Sales team. With one vacancy in the South and one in the Midlands you will be based from a Fraikin location and spend significant time at our Coventry Head Office. These are national roles so travelling should be expected.

 

The Strategic Customer Development team are responsible for generating compelling, bespoke business solutions in Contract Hire, FM or Rental. Reporting directly to the Strategic Customer Development Director the successful individuals will be responsible for generating and securing light vehicle and commercial vehicle contract agreements with strategic customer targets which are typically multi location with fleets in excess of 50 vehicles.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Build, manage and maintain a substantial pipeline of new customers, which will allow the Strategic Customer sales target to be met.
  • Ensure that all pipeline and customer activity is accurately documented and recorded on the companies CRM system
  • Understand the needs and business challenges of the customer to allow the development of a compelling solution.
  • Securing new Light vehicle and Commercial Vehicle business (Contract Hire and Fleet Management) at the correct return within a specific market segment and/or prescribed territory.
  • To manage both customer expectations and the relationship with the customer from lead to implementation resulting in a high success rate.
  • Working closely with the Operations Team to indentify and secure additional business, extensions and renewals from your Strategic Customer portfolio.
  • To support bid and tender management for larger opportunities
  • Network with prospective customers and attend industry events and in order to generate new business opportunities and develop relationships

  

To be successful in this role you will need to be/have:

  • Proven experience of working within a business to business sales environment ideally within a senior level solution based conceptual environment.
  • Experience in the light commercial sector or fleet management would be advantageous.
  • Of graduate calibre, ideally possessing a degree.
  • Highly credible with a professional approach.
  • Strong desire to produce results, demonstrate tenacity, hunger and drive to succeed.
  • Ability to work to standard processes and procedures
  • An excellent ability to communicate articulately both verbally and in writing.
  • IT literate in particular MS Office and Outlook.
  • A high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • An ability to work on their own initiative.
  • To work as part of a team across both rental and workshop functions.
  • Current driving licence.
