Fraikin Helps Flogas Deliver Safely to Customers

May 07, 2013

Fraikin has won a renewal of its three year contract with Flogas, one of the leading suppliers of Liquefied Petroleum Gas in the UK.

The contract covers the management, maintenance provision and fleet administration of most of the fleet deployed by Flogas, which varies seasonally between 250 and 400 vehicles, except for the larger bulk trailers and the gas tanks themselves.

Twenty-four hour breakdown cover across the UK will also be provided by Fraikin, coordinated from its dedicated call centre at Oldbury, West Midlands.

Fraikin has managed the fleet for the past three years and its reputation for reliability and safety has helped it to secure an extension to the contract.

Safety is a top priority for Flogas which delivers LPG nationwide to customers ranging from householders and farmers who are off the mains gas grid, to caravan parks and to businesses that require refills for fork lift trucks or for other industrial processes.

By the very nature of the product, deliveries are made to the most remote locations, often in adverse weather conditions in the middle of winter, as many rural homes and businesses rely on Flogas for heating, so it is vital that vehicles are kept in good condition.
