Workshop Technicians in Bellshill ENGINEERING

  • Full time, permanent employment with the Company
  • Wage – £30,000 pa

 

  • Carry out services, inspections and MOT’s to company / customer vehicles to VOSA standards.
  • Carry out maintenance work on Tractor units and Double deck trailers
  • Attend breakdowns at the “Hub” or Roadside
  • Identify and advise the foreman of any additional work required
  • Ensure the work undertaken is completed in a timely manner and in accordance with instructions
  • Ensure workshop resources are used in a safe manner
  • Adhere to Health, Safety and Environment guidelines
  • Accurate and detailed completion of all relevant paperwork
  • Endeavour to reduce vehicle down time to a minimum
  • Carry out any other relevant duties as instructed by Workshop Controller
  • Preferably City & Guilds or equivalent in HGV Motor Vehicle Maintenance
  • Class One HGV License
  • Knowledge of H&S regulations
  • The ability to learn and adapt to working on specialist double deck trailers

Network Performance Engineer for South England ENGINEERING

  • Full time, permanent employment with the Company
  • Wage – £45,000 pa
  • Benefits: Company Car/Allowance, 10% management bonus

 

  • To proactively manage the Fraikin external maintenance network within an allocated region to ensure compliance with the required statutory and business requirements and that it meets the operational requirements of Fraikin and end users.
  • To regularly audit the Fraikin internal & external maintenance network within an allocated region in accordance with an agreed plan to ensure compliance with the required statutory and business requirements and that it meets the operational requirements of Fraikin and end users.
  • To proactively manage the Fraikin external maintenance provider network within an allocated region to ensure the most cost effective and effective performance for the business and end users.
  • To identify and report areas of non-compliance and/or performance failure within the Fraikin internal and external maintenance network, to produce and manage improvement plans as appropriate.
  • In conjunction with the appropriate procurement manager to select the appropriate maintenance providers required in order to fulfil the operational needs of the business.
  • To undertake new supplier evaluation audits within an agreed region and to make recommendations on acceptance into Fraikin maintenance network.
  • City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Motor Vehicle Engineering or equivalent
  • Category C Drivers Licence (Essential); C+E Driver Licence (Preferred)
  • Excellent knowledge of “O” Licence Undertakings
  • Excellent report writing & presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
  • Good IT Skills particularly MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Good knowledge of DVSA inspection standards & procedures
  • Experience of supplier negotiation
  • Audit experience
  • Ability to work to targets & deadlines, under own motivation
  • Prepared to work outside of “normal” hours

  • Full time, permanent employment with the Company
  • Wage – £35,000 pa
  • 40hrs per week – rolling shift

 

  • Carry out services, inspections and MOT’s to company / customer vehicles to VOSA standards.

  • Attend breakdowns at the “Hub” or Roadside
  • Identify and advise the foreman of any additional work required.

  • Wage – £33-35,000 pa

  • Preferably City & Guilds or equivalent in HGV Motor Vehicle Maintenance
  • Class 1 HGV License is preferred, ideally with Driver CPC hours completed
  • Knowledge of H&S regulations
  • Flexiblity to meet the volumes of work that may arise
