NEWS SUMMARY:

  • Fraikin will offer its mobile maintenance capabilities to customer-owned light commercial vehicles, following the launch of FleetCare
  • The all-new service is available as a standalone package, as well as alongside Fraikin Contract Hire or Fleet Management agreements
  • FleetCare service will be delivered by qualified Mobile Technicians operating from fully-equipped vans

Mobility solutions expert Fraikin has reinforced its commitment to customer support with the launch of FleetCare, a nationwide mobile maintenance service which extends to customer-owned light commercial vehicles. Available as a standalone option, or alongside Fraikin Contract Hire or Fleet Management agreements, FleetCare streamlines maintenance through an integrated support structure, unlocking immediate operational improvements and measurable cost savings.

Delivered by Fraikin’s team of highly skilled Mobile Technicians, FleetCare will cover planned and reactive inspections, servicing and repairs on site, supporting uptime, compliance and fleet efficiency. This will allow customers to maintain consistent standards across their fleets, regardless of whether the vehicles have been supplied by Fraikin or purchased outright.

John Cunningham, Chief Operating Officer, Fraikin, says: “FleetCare has been developed around a simple priority, to give customers stronger day-to-day support for the vehicles they rely on to run their business. By delivering maintenance directly, our team can work more collaboratively, respond faster to issues and reduce the disruption that comes with taking vehicles off-site. It is a service built to fit around real working environments, not the other way round.

“Attention to detail sits at the heart of FleetCare – it sets a new benchmark for mobile maintenance support and reflects how seriously we take our responsibility to support customers throughout the operational lifecycle of their vehicles.”

Through FleetCare, customers will benefit from an array of services, including routine inspections and repairs covering brakes, suspension, batteries, drivetrain components, lighting, belts, cooling systems and software updates. Operators can also use FleetCare for specialist work, for example tail lift and LOLER inspections, temperature-controlled unit servicing, or bodywork checks.

MOT support forms another key part of the offering, with Fraikin’s team also able to handle vehicle preparation, defect rectification, delivery for test presentation and the return of vehicles to site, removing the need for operators to coordinate collections and workshop bookings themselves.

Via the FRAIKinVIEW platform, customers are provided with real-time visibility of Mobile Technician job status as work progresses, as well as instant access to service records and legal documentation, ensuring total peace of mind.

Fraikin’s Mobile Technicians are fully qualified to level two of the IMI IRTEC Licensing Scheme, the nationally recognised standard for commercial vehicle service and maintenance. The team also includes level three electric vehicle (EV) trained technicians and specialists in ancillary equipment, such as temperature-controlled units, enabling multiple tasks to be completed in a single visit.

Each Mobile Technician van is fitted with a full racking system, including a multi-purpose workbench, secure carry cases and a comprehensive suite of diagnostic equipment, allowing technicians to identify and resolve issues quickly, either at the roadside or on site at the customer’s premises.

Businesses interested in FleetCare can contact Fraikin for an initial consultation to review their fleet requirements, allowing for a tailored proposal outlining service scope and costs to be drafted.
